Daily Activities

Hye Hour
Dive into Armenian culture, music, dance, and heritage:

  • Learn traditional Armenian dances with professional dancers
  • Explore Armenian folk music, camp songs, and historic Church hymns with our full-time Music Director
  • Cooking demonstrations, cultural lessons, and trivia

Arts & Crafts
Campers create art projects that tie into Armenian themes throughout the week. From Khatchkar making to tie-dyeing, your camper is bound to come home with some show-stopping art!

Religion
Campers explore Christian faith lessons in a fun, active way — often outdoors and moving around. Led by our dedicated clergy, these sessions help campers deepen their faith through discussion, activities, and reflection.

At the end of the week, campers perform what they’ve learned during Closing Ceremonies, including dances, music, and projects.

Athletics and swim

Get ready to move! At Saint Vartan Camp, energy is everywhere. With a full-sized basketball court, regulation soccer field, sand volleyball pit, and swimming pool, our campus is built for action.

From competitive games to creative, high-energy challenges, every activity is designed to get campers outside, active, and having fun. We believe movement builds confidence, teamwork builds character, and trying something new builds courage. Whether a camper is an experienced athlete or stepping onto the field for the first time, we make sure everyone feels included, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Swim time is always safely supervised by our Aquatics Director and certified lifeguards, giving campers the freedom to enjoy the water in a structured and secure environment.

At SVC, athletics are more than just sports — they’re about spirit, laughter, teamwork, and the kind of summer energy kids remember all year long.
