At St. Vartan Camp, the health and safety of our campers is our highest priority — always.
We proudly operate fully in compliance with all New York State and local health and safety regulations, including oversight from the New York State Department of Health. Our camp meets or exceeds all required standards for:
On-site nursing and medical care
Food preparation, handling, and sanitation
Our food service program is designed with health and nutrition in mind. Campers are provided with well-balanced, nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, made with quality ingredients to keep them energized, focused, and feeling their best.
Facilities, programming, and supervision
Campers are closely supervised at all times by trained, dedicated staff who are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Licensed aquatics director
Pool time is supervised at all times by a licensed Aquatics Director and certified lifeguards, with strict adherence to the buddy system, so every camper is accounted for and safe in and around the water.
Community involvement
We also maintain a strong relationship with the local town police department, who regularly check in on campus to ensure there are no unauthorized visitors, particularly during overnight hours, and that our community remains secure.
Communication
We believe safety is a shared responsibility. If you ever have questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding health or safety, we welcome the conversation. We are always looking to improve and strengthen the camp experience for every child and family.
Your trust means everything to us — and we take that responsibility seriously.
